There is a pay to park system in place.  The payment system can be accessed via a unique code provided by Old Oak Training on the day.  This code will allow you to park all day.  It is your responsibility to pay the parking fee.

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to course start time for registration purposes.

Please bring at least one of the following forms of identification – Driving Licence, Driver Qualification Card,
Driver Card or Valid Passport.

Vehicle Checks, Road Worthiness & Wheel and Tyre Maintenance (DVSA CPC) accredited module focusing on making sure that the vehicle is roadworthy (safe & legal) and making sure that the tyres are chosen for purpose and maintained accordingly.

Who should attend Vehicle Checks, Road Worthiness & Wheel and Tyre Maintenance ?

Staying Legal is essential training for all  drivers, regardless of the area of operation, which will raise the levels of knowledge to enhance awareness of the levels of compliance that is required.  Drivers have a higher responsibility than normal licence holders, by driving for commercial purposes; therefore, they are required to drive professionally, in a roadworthy vehicle, in full compliance with the law.

The course equips drivers with knowledge of:

  • The Vehicle Checks and Road Worthiness module is delivered over 3.5 hour highlighting the importance of vehicle checks in ensuring that the vehicle is roadworthy (safe & legal) prior to use on the road. The content is delivered via trainer led discussion supported by videos and group activities.

  • The Wheel and Tyre Maintenance module is delivered over 3.5 hours and highlights the importance of correct tyre selection, condition and inflation checks prior to use on the road and continuously throughout the working period. The course also covers wheel condition, wheelnuts and why/how wheels break-away from vehicles. The content is delivered via trainer led discussion supported by videos and group activities.

Vehicle Checks, Road Worthiness & Wheel and Tyre Maintenance is a seven-hour, CPC Accredited course.
